I'd got my domain name registered with a company who had gone into liquidation. Stressed didn't come close to the panic and worry, not only that I had effectively lost my website address, but that I may never get it back.
It was a rare occasion where I truly wore my heart on my sleeve all over FaceBook, and it was just as well that I did. Through a mutual acquaintance, at 10pm at night when I thought I was never going to get my site back, I had a phone call from a gentleman called Darren Candler from Metadas. I'd never met him before and I certainly wasn't expecting the call; but after 20 minutes of me panicking Darren was on the job of fixing the problem.
The next day, between his hard work and communicating between my hosting company and a few of his contacts my site was saved - phew!! (and then some!!)
So how do you put a price on this 'to the rescue' act of kindness?? I offered to take some photos of his pride and joy, Rune, Rune is a stunning dog, full of bounce and the kind of dog you have to be quick to capture. There was a very obvious bond between Rune and Darren and it was a pleasure to be able to capture it.
I just wanted to share some of the images of the day and add my public thanks to Darren, I hate to think where I'd be now had he not been there to help. If you find yourself in the terrors of the computers and the web then get in touch with him. http://www.metadas.com
